Thinking about childhood differently.
On purpose.

Every child unfolds in their own time. Our curriculum unfolds with them.

Because how we think about childhood shapes everything.
These are the ideas we return to.

Nurture. Grow. Become.

A Waldorf education meets your child exactly where they are, then keeps meeting them there as they grow. We call it Nurture, Grow, Become: one continuous journey built around how children develop. Find your child’s stage below.

Early Childhood

Built on rhythm, play, and imitation. In the first years of life, children build their perception of the world. We structure each day around rhythm, true experience, and examples of goodness—the foundation from which everything else grows.

Elementary School

Every subject here moves, makes, and means something.

In Grades 1–5, every subject deepens through more than one sense. A history lesson might be drawn, acted out, or set to song. Children don't just study a concept, they live inside it for a while, balancing rigorous thinking with genuine feeling.

Where students learn to think, not just what to think.

In Grades 6–8, students test ideas, argue their own positions, and learn to defend a judgment under real scrutiny. Academics deepen across history, science, math, and the arts, while every student leads a year-long independent research project. The result: an 8th grader who can synthesize complexity, hold a room, and act with real conviction.

Extended Care

The day doesn’t have to end at pickup. The year doesn’t have to end in June. The same rhythm and care carry through aftercare and summer camp.

Technology & Media Guidelines

We believe in an unfiltered childhood. Fully present, fully real. Children need time outdoors, hands-on work, imaginative play, and direct connection with the world around them. Our media guidelines help protect that space.

See where your child can grow.

The best way to understand a WWS education is to experience the rhythm, warmth, and purpose of the school in person.
